So a few days ago a friend of mine asked if I could make her a Charles Xavier doll, wheelchair included.
The Ami (which has wire in his limbs for adjustability) is featured in his dark suit and powder blue shirt, as seen below.
His grey and black wheelchair is currently being worked on, and I'm feeling very pleased with how it is shaping up.
This project should be done early next week, and will not be for sale in the shop (it's a special order).
I'm already pondering my next doll for the shop- check back soon to see what it will be!

How could I refuse such an awesome request? Charles Xavier (Professor X to his students) is the founder and backbone of X-men, a group of advanced humans with superhuman abilities.
Professor X is played by the always-superb Sir Patrick Stewart (a personal favorite of mine).
I originally had some misgivings about crocheting a wheelchair (without which it would just be Captain Picard in a suit), but after some serious pondering on wire inserts, I'm ready to give it a shot.
